I haven't updated in a while, mainly because the past week has been filled with researching/test-driving cars! I tried out the Honda Fit and Mazda3, and I really liked both. The deciding factor was my comfort level--the M3 seemed intuitive to drive, even if it had a bunch of buttons and dials (a LOT), and the guy who was trying to sell me the Honda didn't take a lot of time to explain what was going on with the car, like radio controls, etc. Plus, I felt like he thought I was too young to really appreciate the Fit; it could be my imagination kicking in, though.
I would have been happy with both cars, but to make a long (and not very interesting) story short, I have a new Mazda3!
The drive back from the dealer's was so much fun. The front end looks like it's smiling! Pictures soon.
