After seeing her on "The Tonight Show" the other night, I was struck by how unable she is to communicate at all effectively. Mendes blathered on about a day spa (she must have said, "I really don't know what it is" about a dozen times) and tried way too hard to be funny (and it fell flat! Good for the studio audience). I was pretty unbiased beforehand, knowing nothing about her, other than that she was good-looking, and boy, was I surprised to see her being such a blatant airhead on national TV.
I also thought she seemed really fake and attention-whorey. Ms. Mendes grabbed at poor co-guest Chris Mintz-Plasse like she was shopping on Black Friday at the Vera Bradley outlet store. He didn't know what to do about it, the poor dear.
More updates on traumatic immunization appointments, preliminary car searching, and friendly communication (with photos, hopefully!) later.
